Solar, Battery & EV Charger Installation in Twerton, Bath

We recently completed a Fox ESS solar and battery installation for a unique property heated by an air source heat pump. While the home's impressive floor-to-ceiling glass feature walls create a stunning modern aesthetic, they also contribute to higher energy consumption due to their lower insulation performance.

Two of the property's large flat roof areas provided the perfect opportunity for a tray-mounted solar PV installation, maximising available roof space without compromising the building's design. The new solar array, combined with a Fox ESS battery storage system, enables the homeowner to generate, store, and use more of their own renewable energy, helping to significantly reduce electricity costs.

To complete the system, we installed a Fox ESS L Series EV charger, seamlessly integrated with the solar PV system. This intelligent charger can prioritise surplus solar generation, allowing the homeowner to charge their electric vehicle using clean, self-generated energy whenever possible, further increasing energy savings and reducing reliance on the grid.

As part of the wider electrical installation, we also provided dedicated power supplies for a new sauna and ice bath combination, ensuring these high-demand wellness features were safely and professionally installed to support the homeowner's lifestyle.
